DERBYTOUR 2012: LEGENDARY
1.24.12
The Derbies have returned stateside after an amazing and exhilarating Europe tour. We had some great times and sang with some truly amazing groups. We sang at the London Acappella Festival (the only American group to do so!), as well as at King's College, Imperial College, Oxford, Cambridge and the Cavalry And Guards Club in London. To all our new British friends, thank you - your warmth and generosity in hosting us, as well as your beautiful voices, made our tour even more unforgettable. We would love to return the favor if you're ever in America! Now that we're back, though, it's time to get ready for auditions! YOU could be the next lucky man to wear the coveted Derby! See our Facebook page for details in the coming days!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND LONDON TOUR!
12.17.11
Finals are almost over, which means we're getting ready to head home for some much needed R & R. However, this break is especially exciting, because the Derbies are going to London! We're super pumped to share our voices at various venues 'cross the pond and with our mates at universities there! However, the trip is quite expensive - if you would like to help us pay for part of it, please check out our video here! Any donation is greatly appreciated, and we're offering lots of fun perks as well! For now, happy holidays and have a wonderful break from the Brown Derbies!
WINTER WEEKEND AT SMITH!
12.3.11
The Brown Derbies spent the weekend at Smith College, bringing holiday cheer to the campus with our voices. We sang and stayed with our sister group, the lovely and talented Smiffenpoofs!!
THE DERBIES ARE GOING TO EUROPE!
11.16.11
The Derbies are now simply too much for one continent to handle. We're going global. Come January, the Derbies will cross the Atlantic to bring our American charm to the UK and France. We're going to see the sights, take over the stage at the London A Capella Festival, and sing with groups from obscure British schools such as Oxford and Cambridge.
